Hi, I'm Jo!

"Hi my name is Jo, I have 3 children, 2 of who have additional needs.  My eldest child is now 23 and has complex needs and my other child who is 21 has autism and anxiety which took a long time to get diagnosed. I have been on the parent carer forum committee since it was first set up some 12 years ago and have seen many changes over the years. My eldest child was on an EHCP but has now left Education and is now living in Supported Living out of borough. My child who has autism and anxiety is actually at university and went through Education with SEND support.  I am passionate about ensuring that parents/carers voices are heard and valued. I am committed to working with services to make sure children and young people with SEND receive the support they need to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small"
