FACE Walsall Parent Carer Forum wants to gather feedback and lived experiences from parents/carers of issues that are important to you to ensure that the services we receive can be influenced by your voice to make sure we make an impact and help to improve the services. By becoming a member you can be part of our voice and help make a difference.

Working in partnership with the Local Authority to help improve services, providing a collective voice to challenge and improve local provision.

Receive updates about what's going on and also get training to help upskill you as a parent around SEND.
Peer Support and Community
Connect with other parent/carers for emotional support and reduce feeling isolation by sharing experiences in a safe environment.
Flexible participation
Participate as much or as little as you like, from just wanting updates to getting more involved in steering groups at a strategic level.

Gain the knowledge and the opportunity to shape the future of local SEND services and advocate for children and young people with SEND.

Member
-Access all information and resources from FACE
-The opportunity to attend events and complete surveys
-Receive updates about FACE's activities and what we've done
-Flexible to dip in and out of events/surveys/training
- Priority access to our events
Parent Carer Representative
-Attend regular meetings with the Local Authority to share parent/carer feedback
-Help plan and co-produce policies that shape SEND services
-Choose which meetings you would like to attend (flexible involvement)
-Receive training and support to build your confidence
-Represent the views of children and young people with SEND
- Report back to the Committee of FACE
Committee Member
-Be involved in planning the work of FACE
-Attend focus meetings with key Local Authority staff
-Help raise awareness of FACE and its work
-Support the planning and delivery of events
- Receive training to build confidence working at a strategic level
